World of Dr. Evermor Nominated for USA Today’s 2026 Top 10 Best Sculpture Parks

North Freedom, WI — World of Dr. Evermor Sculpture Park has been nominated for USA Today’s 2026 Top 10 Best Sculpture Parks in the United States, as part of the publication’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

Located in North Freedom, Wisconsin, World of Dr. Evermor is home to FOREVERTRON®, the world’s largest scrap metal sculpture, standing 50 feet tall, spanning 120 feet wide, and weighing more than 300 tons. Built in the 1980s, the park has become a unique and beloved destination for visitors from across the country.

Voting for the USA Today 10Best Sculpture Parks category begins on Monday, January 19, 2026, and will remain open for 28 days. The public may vote once per day by visiting: https://10best.usatoday.com/qr/56186/

World of Dr. Evermor was created by the late Tom Every (1938–2020), a demolition expert turned artist who spent decades collecting antique machinery and scrap metal to construct monumental works of art. According to Every, Dr. Evermor was a Victorian-era inventor who designed the FOREVERTRON® to launch himself into the heavens on a magnetic lightning force beam.

World of Dr. Evermor Sculpture Park continues to inspire creativity, curiosity, and imagination for visitors of all ages and remains a standout example of large-scale folk art in the United States.
