Full-time Housekeeping Position
(32 hours/Week includes every other weekend)

We are seeking a dependable, caring, and detail-oriented Housekeeping team member to join our long-term care facility. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff.
Position Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and other facility spaces.
- Perform routine sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Follow established infection-control and sanitation procedures.
- Properly handle cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.
- Remove and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
- Help maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents.
- Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other facility departments.
- Treat residents, families, visitors, and coworkers with dignity, kindness, and respect.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting as required.
- Compassionate and respectful attitude toward older adults and individuals receiving long-term care.
