6:8 is opening a new cafe at our facility! Join our vibrant team as a Cashier/Food Runner, where you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and delicious food to our valued customers! In this dynamic position, you’ll be the friendly face that greets guests, processes their orders, and ensures their dining experience is nothing short of fantastic. What you’ll do

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Operate the Square Point of Sale (POS) system to accurately process transactions and handle cash efficiently.
• Deliver food promptly to tables or designated areas while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and service stations by bussing tables and adhering to sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service during peak hours.
• Handle customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues effectively.

Basic qualifications

• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales transactions.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting is highly desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of retail math principles related to sales transactions.
