Volunteering Time & Talents on Juneteenth
Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. In observance of the federal holiday, Prevail Bank offices were closed, but employees remained actively engaged in their communities, volunteering their time, talents, and expertise with local organizations. Prevail Bank Shred Event Helps People Helping People
As a result of Prevail Bank’s Community Shred Day event in Baraboo, $1,777 was raised for People Helping People’s Adopt a Veteran Program, supporting homeless veterans and those in need throughout the area. Prevail Bank pledged $1 for every pound of paper, up to $1,000 for People Helping People, and the community rose to the challenge, bringing in a whopping 6,000 pounds of paper to be safely destroyed and recycled!
