The purpose of the Social Worker- Youth Justice is to provide juvenile court intake and ongoing supervision to juveniles alleged or adjudicated delinquent or in need or protection or services and serves as resource coordinator and acts as liaison between the agency, families and providers for the Sauk County Department of Human Services.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other related field
Licenses/Certificates:
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
Obtain a Wisconsin State Social Worker License within 6 months of start date
Juvenile Court Intake Worker Certified within 6 months of start date
Preferred:
1-2 years of child welfare services experience
Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
