Title: RN – Clinic – Plastics (Full Time)
FTE: 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide assessment and treatment of urological patients, providing quality, professional nursing care, and assisting medical provider with medical procedures or performing those independently within the nursing scope of practice.
POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care; triages diagnostic data and patient status—including emergency situations—to inform provider decisions
- Assists medical provider as appropriate—including procedural support and diagnostic result evaluation, highlighting significant values for patient care.
- Triages/screens telephone calls related to patient care.
- Obtains appropriate information with attention to detail and accuracy (i.e. using direct symptom related questions – keeping patient focused.)
- Makes nursing assessment utilizing, theory and judgment, and patient information.
- Implements appropriate care using nursing assessment, critical thinking skills, protocols, and standing orders.
- Performs delegated medical acts and provides supervision as needed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act to the
- LPNs and unlicensed personnel.
- Manages clinic flow and performs patient rooming workflows as requested.
- Collect laboratory samples.
- Schedule referrals/outpatient diagnostic procedures including patient prep information and coordinate prior authorizations
- Establishes working relationships teaching protocols for patient education, family counseling and general public information.
- Takes a leadership role in the facilitation of department functions including mentoring new staff and ensuring policies &
- procedures are followed.
- Leads and participates in site process and policy improvement teams.
- Cross train and staff other clinics as needed.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies, protocols, standing orders and quality assurance standards.
- Administer neurotoxin injections and dermal fillers per protocol under supervision.
- Conduct aesthetic consultations, informed consent, and facial anatomy evaluations.
- Support in-office and OR-based cosmetic procedures—from screening through post-op care.
- Document all injectables and outcomes in EMR; maintain patient photography and follow-up.
- Manage injectables and implant inventory (ordering, storage, tracking).
- Conduct detailed assessments, educate patients, and manage expectations using strong consultative skillset.
- Collaborate alongside plastic surgeons, NPs, CRNAs, and support staff.
- Participate in data collection, statistical reporting and outcomes.
- Commit to continuing education, inclusive of staying current on new injection techniques, aesthetic devices, and certifications.
- Perform other duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (AND)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience:
- Required: None
- Preferred: 1 to 3 years of experience as a nurse in a healthcare setting.
Licenses and Registrations:
- Required: State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Preferred: None
Certification(s):
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Certification in plastic surgery nursing (e.g. CPSN) or aesthetic nursing (CANS) through PSNCB
