Learn to knit socks! Knitting socks is an initiation for knitters. There’s something about turning the heel that really makes one feel like an expert and that they can accomplish anything! As the instructor, I will walk you through knitting your own pair of socks using the flap, heel, and, gusset method. We will use a dk or worsted weight yarn (to ensure we can finish in a reasonable amount of time). Students will be personally guided through each step in sock knitting, and we will discuss as a group how one may customize and design their own stitch patterns. By the end of the class you will have one sock complete! it will be up to you to make a second sock using the written instructions provided as a refresher.
