Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 220 countries and geographical areas around the world.
Our club was chartered in 1947 and has been serving the area since then. In 2020, we established Sauk Prairie Lions Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) insuring that all gifts, bequests, and contributions are tax deductible.
Our primary fundraising events include:
• Annual “Lions” Golf Tournament
• “Cow Chip” festival pancake breakfast
• Various meat raffles
• Lions Mints Sales
Our primary community service projects include:
• Pre-Kindergarten vision screening
• Collection of used glasses and hearing aids
• Highway 12 cleanup
• Transport of eye tissue to Wisconsin Eye Bank
