Located in Culver Community Park, the new Sauk Prairie Childcare Center is a collaborative initiative between the Sauk Prairie School District, the Village of Prairie du Sac, and the Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce. Set to open before the 2025-26 school year, the center will provide 168 much-needed childcare slots for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers helping to ease the childcare shortage in our community.
This state-of-the-art facility will be owned by the Village of Prairie du Sac and operated by the Sauk Prairie School District as a revenue-neutral program. Funded entirely by private donations, the center represents a community-driven investment in the future of Sauk Prairie's families and workforce.
As Superintendent Jeff Wright said, ''By investing in our youngest residents and providing families with affordable, high-quality childcare, we are investing in the future success of Sauk Prairie.''
