Office Assistant

Kris Kohlman Property Management, LLC (KKPM), Sauk City based property management company, managing residential rental properties in: Baraboo, Prairie du Sac, Sauk City, Mazomanie, Merrimac and Lodi is seeking a full-time office assistant, showing agent and administrative support to our fast pace office.  Office hours consist of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.  Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license.  

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering rental inquires by telephone, email or personal inquiry.
  • Assist with rent collection and collecting earnest money and or security deposits.
  • Assisting in Processing Rental Applications
  • Maintaining availability listings.
  • Showing rental properties.
  • Assisting in drafting leases and lease renewals to meet required deadlines.
  • Handling and assisting in day to day property management operations.
  • Assist in enforcement of rental agreements.
  • Assist with Maintenance Manager and Maintenance staff and or vendors to dispatch maintenance and repair requests from tenants.  Assist with tracking maintenance work orders.
  • Assist with being on-call for maintenance calls and dispatching to vendors one weekend per month.
Qualifications would include:
  • Microsoft, strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • 10 Key
  • Ability to run a multiline telephone
  • Ability to run a copier, scanner, fax machine
  • Strong communication Skills
  • Strong organizational Skills
  • Must be able to type
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday and  be on call one weekend per month.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds and use stairs.
