Whooping Crane Festival 2012

Whooping Crane Festival 2012 is being held in conjunction with Operation Migration, the ultralight-led migration of Whooping Cranes.  Once found in the wild in Wisconsin, the Whooping Crane disappeared from this state over a century ago.  Operation Migration is working to re-establish a self-sustaining, migratory flock in Wisconsin.

Activities:  Berlin Rotary Pancake Breakfast and Brat & Burger Fry, Vendors Market, Silent Auction, Whooping Crane Education Station, Photography Exhibit, Origami Crane Folding Demonstrations, DNR Bird Banding Demonstration, Operation Migration & International Crane Foundation Information Booths
