The Sauk Prairie FFA Alumni kicks-off another Tractor Pulling Season on Memorial Day weekend playing host to their annual “Spring Dirt Fling.” This two-day pulling event is one of the Alumni’s main fundraising efforts. Dollars generated this year will not only benefit the Sauk Prairie High School Agriculture Department and FFA Chapter, but in addition 5% of the net proceeds will also go toward Relay for Life and 5% will go toward the Veterans Badger Honorary Flight Program. “The Alumni is proud of the support we give our local agriculture department,” shares Brad Anderson, Sauk Prairie FFA Alumni President “but we also want to give back to the community in a special way this year. We have invited the Veterans to attend the pull for free on Saturday night and invited them to participate in an honorary ride. In addition, they will sing the National Anthem along with the color guard being present to start the pulling night”.
