Rockin' the Ranch

Wisconsin author and musician, Michael Perry, and his band, the Long Beds will play a “Rockin’ for the Ranch” benefit concert for Kids’ Ranch at the CAL Center, 1100 S. Albert Ave., Reedsburg, on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. Kids’ Ranch serves children, ages 6-12, in the Baraboo, Reedsburg, Sauk Prairie, and Wisconsin Dells areas who are facing life challenges such as poverty, abuse and learning disabilities by connecting them with caring community volunteers in its literacy and summer day camp programs. Although a nominal fee is charged for the summer day camp and the school year tutoring programs, most children receive scholarships; Kids’ Ranch operates on volunteer donations.
