Learn how to ID birds by ear!
Sauk Prairie River P.A.L. will be hosting Learn how to ID birds by ear!
Tuesday May 16 from 6-8 pm at the Sauk City Library's Community Room.
You will learn how to identify birds using their calls. Bring your mobile device, we'll be sharing/recommending an app that will assist you.
Scott Weber will be the presenter, who has been "always" birding by ear.
Saturday following the talk, we will host a bird "listening" event at Sauk City Riverfront Park between 6am and10am. Bring your chair with you, binoculars if you like, your own water bottle. Rain or shine, we will only cancel if we can't safely use our mobile devices OR severe weather conditions (please stop asking for snow!).
