Harmonious Wail, n., 1. A gypsy swinging, torch singing, death defying love note. 2. An incredible jazz trio! Drawing on the rich influence of European Gypsy swing, the Wail’s intoxicating vocals and enticing arrangements burst the boundaries of Gypsy swing to the delight of audiences throughout the United States. Gonzalo Bergara will join The Wail at this special performance, adding jazz arrangements he created for the Gonzalo Bergara Quartet. Bergara’s work combines the influence of pioneering Gypsy jazz guitarist and composer Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France with the jazz and musical traditions of his native Argentina.
