Colored Pencil Fine Art Today - It's a New World

Contemporary colored pencil artworks have litte resemblance to "what we learned in grade school."
Whether a drawer with little experience or veteran, you'll have fun discovering and becoming proficient with a unique layering technique which showcases on dark paper a drama and detail beyond what you thought possible with colored pencil.
We'll look at contemporary colored pencil artworks, do an exercise that introduces various stroke applications, each choose a personal subject, design a customized composition and begin an original artwork using the new technique.
There will be several demonstrations and plenty of time to work on your personal drawing, building confidence to complete the drawing with excellence beyond the 2-day workshop.
